KRIS DAVIS
Kris was born on January 21st 1963 in Greenock, Scotland. At 8years old, he learned to play guitar and began listening to artistes such as Merle Haggard, George Jones, Charlie Pride and many others.
When he was 12, he joined his first band and began playing the local working men's clubs around Port Glasgow. He stayed with the same band until the age of 16, when he moved to England. He worked with many different bands covering all genre's of music, but his first love was always country.
In 1994, Kris formed the duo, LIBERTY FREE, and began his professional career as a singer/songwriter and musician. The duo successfully toured the length and breadth of the country until 2001, when Kris decided to pursue a solo career.
Since then, he has toured non-stop as a solo country artist, performing a mixture of his own material and country favourites and releasing two albums and various singles on CD.
In 2006, Kris decided to form  the duo, RED DIRT ROAD with Andy and perform a mixture of "up to date" and standard songs that will appeal to both Line Dancing and Listening venues.
